An online presidential poll conducted which commenced yesterday
on the official website of Africa Independent Television, AIT to
measure candidates popularity was abruptly disrupted over
website’s routine maintenance .

Before the disruption of the poll on Tuesday, the presidential
candidate of All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu
Buhari was in an early lead, followed by his counterpart in Peoples
Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan.

Meanwhile some social commentators have showed their
dissatisfaction over the poll’s disruption claiming foul play.
A twitter handle, with the identity @Zangodaura, said “AIT has
shut down the site of ONLINE POLL because GEJ was losing giving
flimsy excuse of “website is under maintenance”.
