Earthquake in Rivers State Polity

With the election tribunals giving their verdict and making heads in news recently, Rivers state has received the greatest shock as the tribunal has nullified election the state assembly speaker, Mr. Owaji Ibami and about 20 PDP law makers in the state assembly.

This is coming days after the gubernatorial election which brought Nyesom Wike to seat was nullified.

Hence, the state assembly is left with 12 law makers who are too small to effectively run the house.

For the first time it seems the tribunal is dead serious about Electoral Malpratice!
