An Atheist should not be POTUS.....Ted Cruz

As the electioneering period draws nigh in America,  Ted Cruz has affirmed his faith saying that a president ought to begin everyday with prayer.



Speaking at the national Religious Liberties Confrence in Iowa, Cruz joined others in the discussion about persecution of christians in th eU.S. and around the world. After some hardsh comment son homosexuality, Pastor Kevin Swanson invited Cruz to the stage to ask him how important it was for candiatates to submit to JEsus Christ as "The King of the president of the united states."

"Any president who doesn't begin every day on his knees isn't fit to be a commander-in-chief of this counrty." responded Cruz.

Cruz has been cruising on the wings of Christianity to build his political  identity, however, this did not gho well with Hermant Mehta, an atheist blogger who points out that Cruz is thus disenfranchising nonbelievers from holding public office.

In a like manner, Ben Carson, had also run afoul of the constitution language against a religious test for public office earlier this year , when he said that a Muslim could not be president because of their faith.

I guess United States is In for a hot Election.
