7 things you can do to remain powerful

Before we go deep into this dialogue, I want you to remember that with great power comes great responsibility. That being said, we all want to remain in authority and in charge. Here are the 7 steps to help you retain your strong hold over your empire.

1. Listen Carefully but do not show it.
Listen to what is happening around your environment. Have knowledge about everything. Be curious for information but do not show it. Always ask leading questions and pretend like you do not care about the answer.



2. Be mysterious: 
The more people do not understand you, the more they worship you. Show them what you can do, when you do it, but never let them know how you do it. Do not be afraid of failure. And most importantly, do not fail.

3: Acknowledge others: Acknowledge others as powerful too. but make it known that they are your subordinates. Never concede your position to anyone.

4. Read books:
Great power comes from knowledge and courage. To know and to do is what makes a leader a king. be that leader.

5. Help: 
People need a leader to help them solve a problem. Why are you not helping them? Show them that you can save them when they are in trouble. If you cannot help them, then castigate them for putting themselves in such situation.

6. Lead:
Be proactive. Take the lead. Ask for their opinion but have your mind made up. Let them trust your sense of judgement. Always blaze the trail. If there is need for a sacrifice, show the example.

7. Talk:
Make people talk about you. Ring in their heads, play in their hearts and mind. Keep them engulfed in all about you. Let them make songs about you, sing your praise. Talk to them often, but never directly.

This is not exhaustive, but then, it should keep you afloat. Stay with the power.
