Igbo Eze North PDP Endorses Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi For Lion Building Enugu

THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, secretaries in 20 wards of Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State have expressed their support for Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State for endorsing  Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as his successor in 2015.

They also commended Chime for ensuring that the position was zoned to Enugu North Senatorial zone as promised.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the party officials, Jonathan Mamah and David Abuguja respectively, they said,”We appreciate the stance of our Governor, Sullivan Chime by fulfilling his promise in accordance with the decision of our great party to zone the governorship slot to Enugu-North senatorial district.

“The choice of Ugwuanyi as the sole candidate of the party in the forth coming election is a welcome development. Ugwuanyi has the support of all the ward secretaries in the council area as we march towards 2015 general elections.

“We are urging the good people of Igbo-Eze North and Enugu State in general, to discountenance the statement credited to Senator Ayogu Eze, representing Enugu-North Senatorial District over his non-acceptance of Ugwuanyi as consensus candidate.”
