APC vs Orubebe; As he faces corruption charge

Nigerian former Government minister, Godsday Orubebe, who disrupted the declaration of presidential election results earlier this year has been slammed with charges of bribery and false declaration of assets.

The Niger Delta Minister is accused of failing to declare two properties he owned at the time he took office in 2011.

Also to his discredit is the bribery allegation to the tune of 70 million naira ($350,000) at the Code of Conduct tribunal in the capital city of Abuja.

The 56-years old pleaded not guilty and the case was adjounred to November 26.

My advice: He should have led a low profile like some politicians in the National Assembly do
