The British government has on Monday, reeled out plans to make her looming 19th century red-brick Victorian prison a home for thousands of people.
The prsion were built close to city centres and are now oin desirable locations. The building can be broken up into 3,000 homes.
As a result of this, New prisons will be built to house the inmates.
it will be reclled that Oscar Wilde was once an inmate in such prsions for crimes related to homoseuxuality in 1895. He wrote "the Ballad of reading Gaol " upon his release two years later.
